The war in Ukraine appears to be far from over, as its people and those in neighboring countries like Poland are frightened and unsure of what the future will bring. Families are still being separated and do not have a place of refuge, escalating the number of vulnerable children and orphans in Ukraine and Poland. We can’t bear to hear stories of families torn apart, looking for hope amidst the darkness of this war.
In partnership with Lifesong for Orphans, God has called us to bring the hope of the Gospel to orphans, refugees, and families in crisis who have been affected by the war. Together, we provide an evacuation center for Ukrainian refugees and meet their basic needs through the Tebow Care Center in Poland. Before transitioning the refugees to permanent housing, some of them receive trauma care and counseling, legal assistance to obtain identification, and education to help them thrive in a different country. The war might not be over yet, but we want to respond quickly and lean into what God has called us daily—to fight for the most vulnerable people.
