Rising Light Ridge, the newest ministry of the Tim Tebow Foundation, aspires to be a community of belonging, serving and celebrating all participants as Children of God and His image-bearers regardless of ability or circumstance by bringing together individuals of all backgrounds and abilities to share experiences alongside each other as brothers and sisters in Christ.
Located on an awe-inspiring 3000 acre property in the Pocono Mountains, it will be a Kingdom advancing ministry campus intentionally designed and constructed to challenge, inspire and equip those attending and serving in any of our programs to grow personally and as a community.
"The campus will be a place where all youth and their families belong. It will be a place where we pray generations to come will understand that every life is to be celebrated," said TTF Founder, Tim Tebow.
The name Rising Light Ridge was inspired by Isaiah 60:1 “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you” and the beautiful natural rock ledges throughout the property.
When fully realized, it will represent a physical expression of the strategic ministry focuses of TTF by bringing Faith, Hope and Love through hands-on ministry to the most vulnerable and marginalized, equipping future leaders, strengthening families, providing opportunities to rest and heal, and much more.
With recent studies showing that over 50 million individuals with special needs live in the United States today - individuals often overlooked because of perceived physical, cognitive, emotional, and socio-economic barriers - the need for a community such as Rising Light Ridge has never been greater.
Rather than focusing on disability or disadvantage, programming will emphasize each individual’s unique, God-given abilities, as well as the inherent value they each possess as His children. Long-term plans for the community include residential summer camp, weekend retreats, local community events, adaptive adventure elements, animal-assisted programming, and long-term training and education programs designed to spark true cultural change in how every individual is viewed and valued.
The community will also serve as a place of respite and strengthening for families taking care of a loved one with special needs. With various spaces around the property purposely created for worship, reflection, and fellowship, parents and siblings will experience a time of physical, spiritual, and emotional renewal, leaving them feeling refreshed and supported in the days to come.
“By God’s grace, Rising Light Ridge is intended to impact generations. It will be a place for all to grow, to be celebrated, and participate in the truth that we are all created in God’s image,” said TTF President Steve Biondo.
In addition to the cutting-edge and fully adaptive design elements being incorporated into the campus infrastructure, the site will also take full advantage of the land’s inherent beauty and unique characteristics including multiple waterfalls, a lake, rock ledges, forests, and foliage. The Foundation is committed to preserving the natural beauty of the land in all phases of development.
We are humbled by the Lord’s continued call upon this ministry to fight for those who cannot fight for themselves, and we humbly invite you to pray over those who will begin participating in programming as early as next summer.
