Tim Tebow Foundation Hosts Special Advance Screening of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2

Jacksonville, FL (September 20, 2013) – The Tim Tebow Foundation, in partnership with Sony Pictures Animation and Columbia Pictures Film, reserved an entire movie theatre auditorium for an exclusive private advance screening of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 tonight to host many of the deserving children that the foundation serves.
The event is the first in a series of special functions that the foundation will plan as “Brighter Days” for children they have met through the W15H program, hospital visits and local outreach. Tonight’s guests were greeted with a red carpet entrance and treated to complimentary popcorn and sodas for this sneak peek of the new release before it opens to the public September 27.
“We’re excited for this opportunity to spend time with these incredible children and their families,” said Erik Dellenback, executive director of the Tim Tebow Foundation. “We are always looking to create opportunities that allow the children we serve to enjoy just being kids.”
Due to Tim’s extensive training on the west coast, he was unable to attend, but is thrilled to help provide this unique opportunity for the many brave children who have impacted his life. Attendees included past and future W15H recipients, Lakeshore Athletic Association Pop Warner participants and several other special guests of the Tim Tebow Foundation.
Also present at the event was the foundation’s Thunderbird, Tim’s college car which was restored and modified by Richard Petty and Petty’s Garage.
The Tim Tebow Foundation exists to bring Faith, Hope and Love to those needing a brighter day in their darkest hour of need.
