Prayers for Ansley…

Hello December 26th, 2015

Our sweet W15H friend, Ansley Jones, is in need of prayers. Ansley was diagnosed with AML leukemia in 2013, and we had the privilege of first meeting her in the Timmy’s Playroom at Wolfson Children’s Hospital during her treatment that fall. We were immediately drawn to her joyful outlook, even in the face of such a challenging diagnosis. Ansley has always been the type of person who puts others’ needs before her own. She cares so much for others and has captured the hearts of so many with her kindness and compassion. When we have visited her in the hospital, while she is in the midst of tests and trials of her own, she always takes the time to ask how WE are doing! She has made it a point to really get to know some of the other patients at the hospital, and her friendship breathes hope into everyone around her!

Ansley’s leukemia went into remission, and through the W15H program she was Tim Tebow’s special guest with SEC Nation at the 2014 SEC Football Championship game. Then, earlier this year, she participated in the Tim Tebow Foundation Celebrity Gala and had the perfect personality for interviewing the celebrity guests as they walked the red carpet. With a smile that lights up a room, she drew everyone in with her gentle spirit and love of life. It has been incredible to watch how Ansley has been more than a W15H friend, as she is truly an ambassador for Faith, Hope and Love.

In November, 25 months after her initial diagnosis, Ansley’s leukemia came back. She is currently in the midst of heavy, intense chemotherapy, and is also in need of a bone marrow transplant, for which, praise God, her brother is a perfect match!

Please join us in prayer for Ansley and her family as she fights this battle with leukemia for the second time.

“Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.’” – Psalm 91:1-2
