As we countdown to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of Night to Shine in February 2024, we can’t help but reflect on the privilege of being able to highlight our Kings and Queens who have shared their cherished memories and stories from Night to Shine with us. We praise God for the impact He has allowed this special night to have on individuals and communities worldwide!
Through God's blessing, together, we can continue making a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve. We invite you to join us in making this night possible by signing up as a volunteer and referring your church to host Night to Shine. Our heart is that faith, hope and love would spread worldwide, touching more hearts than ever before…until ALL are celebrated!
No. 1 “10 Years of Night to Shine”
Since the inaugural event in 2015, Night to Shine has impacted 1,000+ cities across the globe, 56 countries around the world, and 555,000+ honored guest experiences!
But our job isn’t done. 1 out of every 6 people may have never heard that they matter, that they are loved, and that they are valued, worthy, royal, and precious Kings and Queens.
No. 2 “Tim’s Prayer Request for Night to Shine”
“Could we be able to rally an army of people that would stand on the line, in the gap, fighting with love and value and worth and dignity, for humanity... through Night to Shine that a group of individuals, that’s some would estimate about 16% of the world’s population, would go from being viewed from so many people’s eyes as “less than” to truly being valued as image bearers, as royalty, as fearfully and wonderfully made”
No. 3 “Years Filled with Happiness” - Emily & Andrea
For the past seven years, honored guests Emily and Andrea have been attending Night to Shine! Why do they keep coming back to celebrate every year? One word: Happiness.
No. 4 “God Loves You and Sees You!” - Sharlotte
Thank you, Tim Tebow, for creating an event that celebrates people like me.” Sweet quotes like Sharlotte’s bring us so much joy and inspiration to keep going to get to one more church and honor one more guest ... until ALL are celebrated.
No. 5 “A Mother’s Indescribable Love” - Hayden
For one night, my sweet girl twirled the dance floor without a care in the world. She had no insecurities, no fears. Beautiful. Carefree. Perfect.” A mother’s joy in seeing her beloved daughter be celebrated as God’s perfect creation is a story we wish to tell for years to come.
No. 6 “Experiencing God’s Love” - Christopher
For all those people to come together, it’s going to help them learn more about how God loves them very much!” Christopher has been attending Night to Shine as an honored guest for six years! He loves dancing down the red carpet, getting crowned as a King of the prom, and experiencing God’s love with his friends and community!
No. 7 “An Excitement That is Hard to Contain"
Besart is usually a very quiet young man, but when it comes to Night to Shine, it seems like he explodes with joy and gets so excited! It is truly a night to remember for our honored Kings and Queens! It is a night where we celebrate and share God's love with people with special needs.
No. 8 “Prayers Become a Beautiful Reality at Night to Shine”
There’s power when a family comes together. Derek's experience at Night to Shine reflects how a family's heartfelt prayers were answered and became a beautiful reality!
No. 9 “When I Walk Down the Red Carpet, I Feel like Royalty” -Katelyn
When I walk down the red carpet, I feel like royalty. When I wear my crown, I feel like a queen!” Katelyn and her mom, Nancy, have attended Night to Shine since 2017. They say their community has also been impacted by seeing God’s love for people with special needs acted out by the local church.
No. 10 "Don’t Forget My Girl”
"When you have a child with special needs, every child with special needs is your child.” We are so humbled to receive and hear stories from parents of Night to Shine Kings and Queens.
No. 11 "Find Joy like Jordan”
Jordan’s story is an encouraging testament to God’s incredible love for people with special needs! Through his life and the work of TTF’s Ministry Partner, @myLIFEspeaks, we have witnessed how God sees him, loves him, and cherishes him as royalty.
