Why It Matters

The Problem

The Philippines leads the world in online child sexual exploitation –80 percent of children in the Philippines are vulnerable to being victims of online sexual abuse or bullying. There are not enough facilities in the country that provide long-term care for survivors of online child sexual exploitation and none for mixed gender sibling groups.

The Solution

Through our partnership, we’ve had the opportunity to create a safe, nurturing place for survivors of online child sexual exploitation. We provide them with a place to call “home” and find healing. Compassionate Hope Tebow Village of Hope provides a community, sense of belonging, and a holistic experience for children who have been rescued. They are welcomed into families led by house parents who love and care for each and every child as their own. Each survivor is cared for physically, spiritually, emotionally, socially, and intellectually. We help ensure that sibling groups are kept together on the same campus and attempt to reunite with family when safe and if possible.
