Human trafficking is a growing global evil that generates an estimated $150 billion annually, enslaving nearly 50 million people worldwide through crimes including sex trafficking, labor trafficking, domestic servitude, and criminal exploitation. In the United States alone, the Global Slavery Index estimates more than one million victims, yet resources for long-term healing remain critically limited. According to the Institute for Survivor Care, only about 2,000 beds nationwide are dedicated to long-term residential survivor care—meaning that if every victim exited exploitation today, less than 1% would have access to the restorative support needed to rebuild their lives. Freedom from exploitation is only the beginning; survivors need safe homes offering trauma-informed, holistic care and a community of consistent support to begin the journey toward healing and stability.
Her Song helps empower survivors to pursue life-long healing and freedom through Outreach, Care Coordination, and Long-term Residential Survivor Care. Through Outreach, Her Song equips communities to recognize trafficking while connecting directly with survivors in jails, prisons, and local communities. Care Coordination provides personalized guidance, helping survivors navigate resources and take steps toward safety and stability. For women ready for deeper healing, Her Song’s Long-term Residential Survivor Care program offers safe housing and trauma-informed, holistic care through counseling, life skills strengthening, and educational and career development and support. Most importantly, women are welcomed into a community where they are deeply valued, loved unconditionally, and introduced to the hope and transformation found in Christ. Her Song operates safe homes and survivor programs in Jacksonville, Florida; Columbus, Ohio; Chattanooga, Tennessee; and the Capital District of New York, helping women find healing, stability, and a path toward a renewed future.
