Sebastian's Story: A Life Worth Fighting For

One day, Anastasia received a phone call that changed her life forever. Her great nephew, Sebastian, had been in a horrific car accident in Guatemala. Sebastian had been declared brain dead, endured a two-day coma, and would have life-long disabilities as a result of the accident.


"The doctors explained he was hanging between life and death. When Sebastian finally woke up, they described it as a miracle from God. They pointed out that many children in similar accidents don't survive. The doctors credited God for his resilience," shared Anastasia.

Ever since that moment, Anastasia has been the primary caregiver for Sebastian.

Anastasia and Sebastian were welcomed with open arms at Tebow Down Guatemala, a ministry of the Tim Tebow Foundation. There, Sebastian was offered therapy and support surrounded by a loving community!

Anastasia’s heart is overwhelmed with gratitude for the support they’ve received at Tebow Down Guatemala.
