In Guatemala, many families impacted by disability face incredible challenges accessing care—long distances, hours of traffic, and costly transportation.

For years, Kathy and her teacher, Sara, would wake up before dawn to travel from Villa Nueva to the nearest Tebow Down Guatemala (TDG) campus in Guatemala City so Kathy could attend school and receive therapies.

But today, things look different.

In January 2025, TDG opened its fifth location in Villa Nueva—just minutes from Kathy’s home. What once took hours now takes only minutes. Kathy now attends school close to home, and her dear friend Sara is the principal of the new campus!

Each new TDG location is more than a building—it’s hope closer to home for families impacted by disability.

Tebow Down Guatemala, a ministry of the Tim Tebow Foundation, continues to expand to bring Faith, Hope and Love to children with special needs across Guatemala.
