How Victim Identification Works

Victim identification is a time-intensive process, which involves the detailed analysis of child sexual abuse videos and images. Victim identification experts require specialized skills, training, and access to the latest technology to be able to identify and protect these children.

What does victim identification look like? The Sunflower Case is an example of a child exploitation case that one of our partners worked on as a special agent. In this case, it was a blurry picture of a road sign that led investigators to the child.
