More than 50 million people around the world are trapped in human trafficking. Our partner works with law enforcement, military, and intelligence personnel to create sustainable change by building highly vetted local networks within specific communities to rescue victims and arrest perpetrators.
Human trafficking is a complex criminal industry that profits from the abuse and exploitation of vulnerable individuals. An overall lack of awareness and available resources has created space for this industry to grow exponentially. Children and individuals are trafficked for jobs such as domestic services, factory work, agriculture, fishing, construction, begging, forced marriage and adoption, but the trafficking of children for sexual exploitation continues to be one of the most common purposes for trafficking. The impact of this crime has reached nearly every country and community across the globe.
Our partner is focused on creating long-lasting and sustainable change. Through intentional working relationships and network development, this task force is able to partner with governments across the globe to bring needed training, knowledge, expertise, and resources that ensure countries are able to build their capacity to fight human trafficking.
