As we look back at all God has done and look forward to the things to come, we invite you run into chaos with us.
Therefore we do not lose heart... 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
2 Corinthians 4:16 - 18
With just 44 churches on board in its inaugural year, what started as a simple prom for people with special needs quickly became a worldwide movement. Today, Night to Shine has impacted hundreds of thousands of individuals through relationships with over 700 host churches in over 30 countries around the globe. A celebration of God's love for all of humanity, Night to Shine has had immeasurable impact on a demographic often unseen and unloved by the world around them.
In 2020, baby Zion was abandoned at a hospital in Haiti. Severely malnourished at several months of age, his very life was at stake. But with placement into a stable family and comprehensive medical care funded by your giving, Zion is now a happy, healthy baby who is thriving; and he is one of hundreds of children who have had life's essentials provided for them and who have been forever changed by God's love working through families.
In 2012, Jocy suffered severe burns which left her disfigured and with minimal mobility in her arms. With her family unable to afford medical care, her future looked bleak. But in 2017, she became one of 4,600+ youth whose future became dramatically different because of the lifechanging care of the Tebow CURE Hospital; care not just for physical healing but spiritual healing as well. To date, nearly 6,000 individuals have made expressions of faith in Jesus Christ.
In October 2020, ‘Not on Our Watch' became both a rally cry and a mindset for the 5,000+ individuals worldwide who joined the Rescue Team, an army of supporters dedicated to ending human trafficking. Because they said yes to the mission, countless victims of the world's greatest evil are being set free and supported in finding true healing.
Funded by your generosity, TTF is thrilled to announce the grand opening of the Ekisa Tebow Community Care Center in Iganga, Uganda. By providing support services including comprehensive healthcare, education, counseling, and financial empowerment, the center will ultimately help caretakers become their child's biggest advocate as they learn the inherent, God-given value of all individuals.
By providing over 100 free therapy sessions per week to children with disabilities in Tirana, Albania, as well as counseling and educational services to caregivers, your giving has empowered the Jonathan Center to continue to rewrite the narrative surrounding how individuals with special needs are perceived and cared for in a region with few resources of their own.
In Haiti, your financial support has made possible the construction of two homes for children attending the Haiti Deaf Academy and supported by Lifesong for Orphans. These children who are so well served by the academy will now also receive wrap-around support and care in a family-style residential setting that will provide these children with hearing loss the resources they need to communicate in a world which had previously ostracized them and often left them open to neglect and abuse.
Since the worldwide pandemic, we have seen an extraordinary rise in the online sexual exploitation of children (OSEC), particularly in eastern Asia, where they have reported a 264% rise in OSEC. To combat this trend, your faithfulness to the ministry has helped to fund world-class trauma-informed care training for counselors caring for victims of OSEC to ensure these children's specific needs are met.
